Lisa Tokuda – Office Manager

 

As a licensed real estate agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties since 2005 and the office manager for Janice Lee’s Team, Lisa is a vital member of the team.  She makes sure the office runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis and overseas all aspects of client and team communications, marketing, and lease files.  Born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley as a 4th generation Japanese-American, Lisa is very familiar with the entire geographic coverage of Janice's business; she is truly Janice’s “right hand.”

 

 

 

 

Ruthann Chou - Executive Assistant

 

Ruthann Chou is in charge of all the important but non-urgent projects to support the on-going growing team!  Born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley and a product of the San Marino Unified School District, she attended college at UC Berkeley and has a J.D. degree from the U.C. Davis School of Law.  On Janice’s busy team, she recreated and manages Janice's monthly newsletter, e-marketing, listing presentations for the entire team, and she constantly develops and improves Janice's Internet presence, including the creation and maintenance of Janice's new, exciting website.  Ruthann is the most important "behind-the-scenes" star who ensures the team's successful growth.

Diana Lam - Transaction Coordinator

 

Diana is Janice’s Transaction Coordinator.  She coordinates all the paperwork as soon as an escrow is opened and reviews all contracts and documentation for completeness and accuracy, as well as ensures that all DRE and office requirements are met prior to the close of escrow. Diana holds a real estate license with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties in Pasadena and has over four years of experience as the Transaction Coordinator.  Diana is a native of the San Gabriel Valley.

Angela Liang - Associate

 

Angela Liang grew up in the San Gabriel Valley and graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Business/Economics.  This has given her a rich appreciation of its multicultural communities.  Angela is an involved parent with the city of San Marino, participating as a board member for the various PTA's and working with the youth outreach program-Partnership for Awareness.  She also volunteers with the San Marino National Charity League.

 

Angela is a CPA. Her 15-years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies, as well as start-up organizations, has prepared her well for her real estate career.  Angela is a full-time licensed real estate agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties in Pasadena and joined Janice Lee's team in 2008.  She attained the prestigious President's Circle award (top 3% nationwide) in 2012 from BHHS California Properties for her sales production and has a growing clientele.

 

Angela is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English, and her background in business and accounting is a huge benefit to all her sellers/buyers.  Angela is truly a valuable team member.

Matthew McIntyre - Associate

 

Matt is a true Pasadena native.  For almost 100 years his family has lived in the Crown City.  He takes great honor in the depth of his roots and loves sharing this fantastic area and its history with others.

 

Matt completed both undergraduate and graduate studies in design and environmental analysis at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.  Matt is very involved in the community as a docent at the Gamble House and a member of the Tournament of Roses Association.  In addition, he holds seats on the Pasadena-Foothills Association of REALTORS® Charitable Foundation and the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties Charitable Foundation.

 

Real estate is both his passion and obsession.  If you ask Matt how he got started in real estate, he will likely reply, “building my first apartments on Park Place and Boardwalk as a kid - I’ve always been intrigued by the buying and selling of property.”  All joking aside, Matt truly loves what he does, and it shows!  He achieved the prestigious Chairman's Circle Gold Award (top 2% nationwide) after joining Team Janice in 2010; Matt is an irreplaceable asset to the team!

Calvin Lo - Associate


Calvin holds a MBA degree in Marketing/International Business and worked at Rosenthal Collins Group as a broker’s associate in the investment banking department after graduation.  After “corporate America,” he started an import/export business in 2001 as an entrepreneur.  Calvin started his career in real estate related ventures in 2007.  He joined Janice’s team in 2012 and services residential and commercial real estate needs to all surrounding areas in Southern California.  He has earned the prestigious Chairman’s Circle Gold Award (top 2% nationwide) and the designation as a Luxury Property Specialist.


Calvin has resided in the San Gabriel Valley for over 20 years, and he is very active in the community: he is the President for the Chinese Club and a director for the Chinese School of San Marino, a trustee of the San Marino School Foundation, and a member of the sister-city committee of San Marino.


Real estate has always been Calvin’s passion!  His past experiences and resources have given him an edge in communicating with clients of multicultural backgrounds.  His commitment and caring, service-driven attitude have helped him in becoming a successful real estate professional.

 


 

 

Julia Kwon - Associate 

 

Julia Kwon was born in Seoul, Korea, then spent her childhood in Sao Paolo, Brazil and later moved to Southern California in 1980.  Julia speaks English, Korean, Spanish and Portuguese fluently.


Her multicultural background has proven to be a huge asset to her, helping her to understand and best serve the individual needs of her clients. 

 

She is the newest addition to “Team Janice”.  She joined the BHHS Pasadena office in 2012.

 

Julia attended The Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, graduating with The Thimble Award; it is awarded to the winners of the Critic Projects for their graduating designs.   After graduating, Julia founded her own fashion company in Los Angeles and was recognized by former Mayor of Los Angeles Tom Bradley in 1993 as one of the up-and-coming designers in Los Angeles.  She supervised all phases of designing – from concept to marketing to production – in the ten years she was in the garment industry.  Additionally, she orchestrated and managed the twenty plus employees who reported directly to her.  Julia worked with many chain retail stores, as well as private labels, catering to their individual needs.  Her creativity; attention to detail; and time management, negotiation, and communication skills became a valuable asset on all levels and continue to serve her real estate clients today.

 

Julia is passionate about charity work.  She is active in the National Charity League, and she volunteers with pride at her two children's schools in the Pasadena area.  When time permits, Julia and her husband and children go on church mission trips together.  Their last trip was to Brazil, Argentina and Chile.  They helped with the underprivileged children’s ministry, the prison ministry, and the transportation of food to natives in remote villages in Paraguay.

 

With the same attention to detail and dedication as she employed in her previous career, Julia confidently assists her clients with their real estate needs.  Whether Julia is working with a first time home buyer, investor or luxury property client, she prides herself on her ability to adapt to every unique situation and transaction, while providing excellent customer service.
